2012 was a big year for me. It was my first full year as a photographer. I feel like I have grown a lot, and I have learned some very valuable skills. I am lucky enough to say that I have had some great inspirations and teachers that have shown me a great deal about what it takes to be a photographer.
In this album, I take a moment to look back at the year. To see some of my favorite moments. I have certainly had a great deal of new shoots this year, and I have gotten a really great variety of them – from weddings and engagements to newborns and families. I have loved every minute of it. These pictures aren’t in any particular order, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Yes, 2012 was fantastic. I had some memorable shoots, I met some great clients, and above all else, I did what I love. I look forward to 2013 and seeing what sort of new adventures I will go on. Have a fantastic New Year, everyone!
My adorable siblings. My sister, Afton, and my brother, Finn, are some of the brightest spots in my life. They mean the world to me, and I cannot wait to get out to Idaho to visit them again in a few months.
Haha, I love everything about this photo. These two are such a great couple, and the no photography sign made the moment.
The first international trip of my life. I went to the Caribbean with my mom, and it was a fantastic trip!
By far one of my favorite wedding memories of the year. These two were hilarious!
I ended the year with a fantastic new weapon for my photo arsenal. I swapped brands from Nikon to Canon, and I purchased a Canon 5D Mark ii. 2013 shall be a grand year indeed!”
