Last week I had the opportunity to take engagement photos for an old coworker from my days as a police cadet! As an added bonus, I got to photograph my first actual couple’s proposal as it happened. It was so much fun.  Dan wanted to surprise his girlfriend, Beth, and propose to her and have a bunch of their family and friends to witness it. Everything went according to plan, and the day turned out wonderfully! Enjoy this preview of the events that unfolded!

Dan started the afternoon by surprising Beth. As they took a stroll through George Mason University’s campus, Beth’s sister made a surprise appearance! Beth had no idea what was about to unfold…

Dan pulled out a ring from his pocket, got down on one knee, and asked Beth to marry him. They both looked SO happy!

Family and friends emerged from their hiding spots and congratulated the newly engaged pair!

I love this shot. They both look about as happy as could be! Congrats, you two. I wish you the best and brightest future together!
